Controller and contact

The controller is TheCleanBNB, a cleaning-service brand operating in Athens, Greece. For privacy questions or requests, email contact@thecleanbnb.com.

Information we collect

The enquiry form asks for your name, email address, Athens area, property type, approximate turnover frequency, requested services, preferred scheduling window and any notes you choose to provide. We do not request a telephone number, payment details or special-category data. Please do not include sensitive information in the notes field.

Purpose and legal basis

We use the information to assess your property, prepare or discuss a service proposal and reply to your request. This processing is necessary to take steps at your request before a possible contract. Limited technical records may also be processed for the legitimate interests of protecting the form and website from abuse and maintaining service security. The information is not used for unrelated marketing and is not sold.

Service providers and transfers

The production site is prepared to use Netlify for website hosting, spam filtering and form processing. Netlify may process submission data outside the European Economic Area and describes the safeguards it uses, including European Commission Standard Contractual Clauses, in its privacy statement. The email provider used to receive and answer the enquiry will also process the message. Access is limited to providers and people who need the information to operate the enquiry process, or to authorities where disclosure is legally required.

Retention

If no service relationship begins, enquiry information is deleted or anonymised within 12 months after the last meaningful contact. If services begin, relevant correspondence and records may be retained for the duration of the relationship and for any longer period required by accounting, tax or legal obligations. Spam and clearly irrelevant submissions may be removed sooner.

Your rights

Subject to the conditions in data-protection law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your data, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interests. Email your request to contact@thecleanbnb.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority.

Cookies, analytics and automated decisions

This version of the site does not use advertising cookies, behavioural profiling or automated decisions. If optional analytics or other tools are introduced, this notice and any required consent controls must be updated before those tools are activated.

Changes

We will update this notice when the enquiry process, providers or legal requirements change. The revision date at the top identifies the current version.
